Description
By the end of the USGIVC (Ultrasound-Guided IV Cannulation) workshop:
Participants will be able to explain indications/contraindications and safety principles, identify suitable veins using ultrasound, perform image optimization and vessel assessment, demonstrate correct needle visualization and cannulation technique (in-plane/out-of-plane), confirm catheter placement and troubleshoot common difficulties, and apply infection control, securement, documentation, and post-procedure monitoring to reduce complications and improve first-attempt success.
