The AHA HeartCode BLS course is the American Heart Association’s blended learning format for Basic Life Support (BLS). It combines self-paced online learning with a hands-on skills session, enabling participants to complete the cognitive portion at their convenience, followed by practical application in a scheduled classroom session. Once registration is completed, learners will receive an email with access to the online portion of the course. This online module must be completed before attending the in-person session. The hands-on skills session will be conducted by AHA-certified instructors at our Life Support Training Center, located at the Clinical Skills & Simulation Center, on the scheduled course date.
